According to the Ordinance ON THE MANNER OF KEEPING THE REGISTER OF TOURISTS AND ON THE FORM AND CONTENT OF THE TOURIST REGISTRATION FORM FOR THE TOURIST BOARD, under Article 21, paragraph 6 of the Sojourn Tax Act (Official Gazette Nos. 152/08 and 59/09 - amended), the hotel shall collect the following data upon guest registration:

• Name and surname
• Place, country and date of birth
• Citizenship
• Type and number of identity document
• Domicile (place of residence) and address
• Date and time of hotel check-in and check-out
• Sex
• Note
• Registration number

The data entered on the tourist registration and deregistration forms is based on the data written on the identity card, travel document or some other identity document.

Foreigner registration with the competent police department or police station through the tourist board is conducted in accordance with the regulations governing the status of foreigners in the Republic of Croatia by electronic data exchange between the eVisitor system and the IT system run by the Ministry of the Interior.

The Croatian Tourist Board stores the received data on a special location in accordance with the digital content archiving standards defined by the authority in charge of archive material. The data from the register of tourists and from the tourist registration and deregistration has to be kept for 10 years. Statistical analyses and data are kept and stored permanently.

Use and forwarding of collected data

The personal data that you have made available to us is solely used for the purpose of notification, that is, for the agreed purposes. Therefore, we normally use it to implement the agreement we have concluded with you, to respond to your enquiry, as well as to provide information about our company’s current offers.

If you are using our services, only the data required to provide such services is normally collected. We may ask you for additional data which is then voluntarily provided information, and once you respond and send the requested data, you automatically give your consent for the use thereof.
